    Hi There!

You're receiving this alert because the site has deemed at this point you have one or more torrents that are not connectable. You can confirm this by going to www.comicbt.com/iconnect.php and looking at the status of each torrent. This means you will not accrue carats on some or all of your torrents until they become connecatble.

Before you start pointing fingers at us saying you're connection is fine and you don't have this issue on other trackers, you most likely do and you just don't know it. Not being connectable doesn't mean you won't upload any data, it means you're not going to upload as much data as you would otherwise, due to a delay in the amount of time it will take users to connect to you (up to 30 minutes, since that's how long before the tracker manually polls your client to see if you're still there)

So what is being "connectable"? It refers to whether other people in the same torrent as you can contact you in order to share data. Being connectable is a Good Thing. Why? A connectable user can share data with anyone in the torrent at any time. Two unconnectable people can't establish a connection between them. If you're the only leecher and all the seeders are unconnectable, you won't get any data.

Being unconnectable hurts the speed of the swarm. Each peer who is unconnectable is limited to sharing data with only peers who are connectable. If there are mostly connectable peers the result is unoticeable but the more the more the percentage of unconnectable peers increases the slower the swarm becomes until it dies at the point where all peers are unconnectable. After all, at that point there's no one left to connect to.

Here are some reasons you may be unconnectable:
    - Lack of Proper Port Forwarding
    - Firewall or AntiVirus Software
    - Using a VPN or Proxy to torrent
    - Bandwidth Oversaturation Either Incoming or Outgoing
    - Starting Too Many Torrents at Once
    - Allowing Too Many Connections per Torrent or Total
    - Using Windows XP with the Standard TCPIP.SYS
    - ISP Blocking Your Chosen Port
    - Using a Router that isn't P2P Friendly
    - ISP Provided Modem Contains Router Features
    - ISP Proxying or Firewalling Your Connection

If you'd like to fix this, the easiest way is to use a seedbox, but this will also cost a few dollars a month, so we'll suggest the free method of port forwarding. To accomplish this you can go to www.portforward.com and find specific instructions based on your router. Keep in mind some ports may not work so it's possible you may have to try multiple ports. Additionally the iconnect page can take up to 30 minutes to update, so remember this while attempting to fix any issues.

    Good luck!
