ALERT We currently have bans in place prohibiting the "hotlinking of images" to "commercially-oriented websites." We have our own image server and it is preferable that you use it (accessed from the "Upload" page) though "hotlinking" to "image-hosting sites" designed for that purpose such as imgur, photobucket and tinypic is allowed. Lately, I've noticed some hotlinking not simply of images but to other commercially-oriented websites themselves or to files and information found on those websites. Examples of such commercially-oriented sites include but are not limited to "google," "wikipedia," "bobandtomstore," "comedycentral," "ebay" or any other similar site. Though the rules may be ill-defined and rule changes will be upcoming, "hotlinking of any kind to a "commerically-oriented" website or to files, images & other information on the those sites is also prohibited." If you want to include urls to other websites or to files & information contained on those sites, simply post the url in "plain text." You may also post the urls in "code" Code url you wish to link to or "quote" brackets. Quote: url you wish to link to If you have any doubts about what you should do simply don't "hotlink," but rather use one of the alternative methods given. You could also "ask rg before posting."
