Request bounty system changes 5 hours and 49 mins ago
A long time ago we asked users for their opinion on how we should split request bounties when the user filling the request is not the uploader.

As from today, all requests will result in a reward of 50% of the bounty for the uploader and 50% for the filler.

Example:
User1 makes a request for Torrent1 for a bounty of 12 GB
User2 uploads Torrent1 but doesn't know about requests.
User3 fills request with Torrent1.

Result:
User1 is 12 GB shy but is happy to download Torrent1
User2 receives 6 GB (before: 0 GB)
User3 receives 6 GB (before: 12 GB)

Note that all former request fills made before this announcement remain unchanged: 100% of bounty went to the filler.
