Hmm, it's too empty on this page so here comes some new stuff

Hello Hello dear members, lurkers, beggers, traders, leechers and fellow staffers
(if you still shouldn't feel addressed by now please send a staff pm)

On our continuous journey to perfection we once more did spare no effort and applied not only but also the following changes and upgrades:

Details Page:

As most of you might have noticed meanwhile the torrent details pages got a facelift. Mostly adopting the same structure we have on the userdetails pages for a while now and some optimizations under the hood. This should give a better and more uniform picture of the important info and a better fit in general.

Upload Page:

The upload page also got slight changes but the important modifications are under the surface. The following two things have been changed not long ago:
1. NFOs are not mandatory anymore. You do however need to either give a description or an nfo. If either of them has been provided you're good to go. This should first and foremost please anyone who upload non-scene material.
2. We added some restrictions to the piece size of the torrent. Most of you will never encounter them. It's just to eliminate some crazy combinations like 256KB pieces for an 8GB game or something

That aside given the latest forum posts it never hurts to refresh a few basic SECURITY hints:

Scripts:

FSC is working perfectly fine without any client-side scripts. Meaning that it's recommended to turn off whatever your browser offers. Addons like noscript are highly recommended as well. The less extras you have activated the safer you are.

Passwords:

Still the classic and cause of the vast majority of problems. Just follow a few simple rules and you're good:
- unique passwords: never use the same password for more than one account.
- strong passwords: ideally use totally random passwords with upper and lower case letters and numbers. The other major factor is the length. The longer the better.

Keeping those two simple things in mind will seriously increase the security of all your accounts.
