µTorrent 3.4.2+ banned - 06/03/15

Effective immediately, µTorrent 3.4.2 has been banned from HDBits because it may install a cryptominer without the user's consent or knowledge. This crosses a line that ought not be crossed. Until we are assured µTorrent is clean again, we will not allow future version either.

We have received some reports of µTorrent builds that do not include this software without permission, but until we know for sure what the reach of this problem is, we won't be allowing any build.

We are now trying to figure out the extent of the problem ourselves. If anyone has an installer that silently installs that miner, please contact us. So far we haven't been able to locate one.
