On behalf of the staff here at UHD, we'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that everyone had an enjoyable holiday season. 2017 brought a lot of great new design changes to the site and I'm glad to hear mostly positive feedback from the users for all of it. A big hat's off to vinyl and cr0nus for putting in all of that work, we're really glad to have you guys around.

The faces of TayTO has changed quite a bit through the year with a bunch new encoders stepping in and some stepping out. Make sure to show some appreciation to them all by leaving some comments on their encodes, I hear they love that kind of thing. Thanks TayTO for all the amazing encodes!

We've added a User Releases Forum for anyone interested in encoding. There are many knowledgeable users and encoders throughout the site to assist you so don't be afraid to ask questions. Hopefully this will lead into the site having more Internal encoders or at the very least provide a wider range of movies to the site. If you are interested in encoding make sure to check this out.

Since we are starting a new year we've decided to update the Rules a bit, somethings for more clarity and others for things we've missed in the past. Please take the time to read through them. Below is a list of the new or edited rules.

Do not upload UHDBits exclusive content anywhere else. You can recognize exclusive content via the "Exclusive" tag on the browse or torrent page.



Do NOT upload internal content to any trackers without permission from the encoder and until it reaches 12 hours on UHDBits. All Release Info and screenshots should be included in your uploads without alteration.



Do NOT upload HDB or UHDBits Internal content to any public trackers.



Before uploading check the Upcoming Internal Releases Forum and User Releases Forum to make sure that an Internal or User encode isn't already being made for the film or show you want to upload. Uploads will be deleted immediately for breaking this rule.



Allowed Content


Movies, TV Shows, and Music

- Blu-ray/HDDVD, Remux, Encode, Capture, HDTV, WEB-DL, WEBRip
- Do not upload upscale contents and illegal DVDs.
- Any SD content needs to be approved by Staff before uploading, this is a HD only tracker.
Uploading Internal releases of UHDBits.org and HDBits.org are strongly encouraged (except EA, IDE, Chotab and other HDB exclusives) Release Groups

Any untagged release should use "Unknown" for the release group.



Scene, WEB-DL, WEBRip and HDTV releases will be deleted after P2P BluRay encodes become available.



Use the IMDB info fetcher and take the time to correct and fill out as many fields of info as you can when you upload. Tagging



2 or more full-size, full-color, untouched PNG screenshots must be added as thumbnails or links in the torrent description. Encodes should be uploaded with all of the original comparison screenshots.



Only one title per request. No requests for multiple movies, season packs or albums (e.g. discographies), make a separate request for each. You may ask for multiple formats, but you cannot specify all of them. A single torrent fills a single request.



Do not request an internal encode. The internal team might claim a request if they are interested in it but otherwise does not react to requests directed specifically at them.




We have a few things in store for 2018 already but I don't want to ruin the surprises. I hope you all stick with us in 2018 and get to enjoy them all for yourselves.
