    To all members,

This global PM is necessary because of certain issues that keep coming up. Since the site has received the benefit an increase in membership the past 6 months this is mainly for you newer members. Your interest in contributing uploads to this site is welcome as long as you follow the sites rules. So here they are and you can count on them as the latest provision that will be followed. Any infraction will receive immediate action to resolve in removing the torrent that violated site policy. There will be no warning or banishment for these infraction just the proper solution so that proper order and consistency can be maintained.

We do not allow duplicate of torrents that are on this site. The exception is if a torrent has different language(s) or subtitle(s), there can be a PAL, NTSC and BD of the same title, Criterion Collection and MOC, KINO, etc. are an exception to this rule because in most cases they are a higher quality than the original. Example of multiple regions is that a R1 and a R4 can be on the site because the region that it was issued will have different languages and subtitles.

Before uploading a torrent you must do a title search to ensure that you are not uploading a duplicate. The search engine can best utilized if fewer words are used. The more words the more torrents will appear which will make the search more difficult to sort through.

The next topic deals with multi-discs. A boxed collection can be accepted, but it cannot be a make-shift that resembles one just because it is a series like the ‘Indiana Jones’ or ‘Mission Impossible’ movies. Another example is the ‘James Bond’ titles even though they are a same theme they still are considered as a single movie title. TV series are considered as a collection and they can be uploaded by single season(s). Serial series that were produced in the 1940’s would fall into the category of a collection. You can see specific information at the top of the Home Page which I have addressed in detail.

At the top of the Home Page grumpyman has provided instructions as to how to display the proper description of a torrent http://classix-unlimited.co.uk/upload_torrent.pdf] ‘How to upload a private torrent’ [/url] and on page 3 you will see the format that should be utilized as the minimum on the description page. In addition one additional line and that will be “Source: ______________”. You will then provide the source such as the distributor such as Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, including the uploader from another site is not acceptable. The main reason is the source is where it was obtained originally and any uploader on this site or any other site would have gotten it through direct means of this source or exchanging through several hands. If you are unsure of the source because you do not have the DVD cover then you can do a google search. An example is I did a search for ‘Dante’s Inferno DVD’ and located the page for Amazon and found in the Product Details “Studio: Starz / Anchor Bay.” This would be the source to put in the description page. The display of this content you can use your imagination as long as all of the information is provided. Moderators will review all new torrents that are uploaded to ensure that they comply with the sites rules. A spinning coin will be place in the description if a torrent does not meet the sites rules and if not corrected in 72 hours the torrent will be removed. If you do wish to give another uploader credit because you obtained from that person then you can do so, but it is optional even though they were not the original source.
