We recently started seeing some of our internals (OmertaHD mostly) being uploaded on other trackers without permission from OmertaHD encoders or staff, and because of this we want to clarify some things:

Security of CN and its community is our main concern as staff, therefore we will never tolerate any review or uploading of our internals on any other site without permission given to you by staff. If you need to do a review for CN, ask us first. If you want to upload our internals on other trackers, you first ask the encoder who did the internal and then if he gives you his OK, you got to ask a staff member too as we are the only ones who can give you the final OK. This does exclude encoders, they are free to upload their releases wherever they see fit, as it is their work and they are free to do whatever they wish with them — but their security is always our first concern and we'll do whatever it takes to protect them and the CN community.

Do not make a review of CN, we will never tolerate this without a permission from a staff member. It is not that we are some 1337 shit or fight club community, when CN started we wanted to keep it low profile and away of any drama or focus and we found out that this rule was necessary to keep us safe. You might see some official reviews here and there, those are made under our supervision and we took off anything that would endanger anyone being member here at CN.

Never share your login URL with anyone, it is a security feature we have here in CN and that is meant to protect your credentials from being brute forced or stolen in case of a breach or hack. Even if you lose your login URL, your other sites are safe and we always can reset it for you, make sure to keep our support channel as a bookmark in case of any problems.

Your security is your responsibility, if you don't know how to stay secure, ask before it is too late. If you lose access to your email(s), there is really few things we can do for you, so make sure to use strong and unique password for each site of yours, never the same password for different accounts.

If you have any problem or a question, you can always contact a staff member or post in the forum, we are always glad to help as fast as we can. We are a community believing in diversity and non-discrimination of any individual, so don't fear to speak up.

Read the Rules and Faq again, you accepted and signed on respecting those when you joined, so don't tell us you didn't read them when the thing hits.
