(Staff) Changes on TD - posted 1 week ago
As you might have been aware, the upper ranks within the TD organization have been changed a bit, but was lacking a proper reason, hence this news post to inform you about some changes that have happened in the staff ranks.

TD has some great plans for the immediate future, including releasing a new site which you may all already know to be TDv3, but in order to bring this and other plans to fruition, we have had to make some changes.

To start with, some extra hands on the steering wheel of TD: It is with great pleasure that I present a new co-Sysop of Torrent-Damage - KeyszerS - who you may all recognize due to his bizarre avatars.

KeyszerS joined us in September of 2006, and has risen through the ranks starting off with FLS and them moving to Uploader before becoming a Moderator for a short while, and then becoming Admin in which he has served well over 3 years. KeyszerS is one of the main coders of TDv2 and will continue to work on the development of TDv3 as well as help manage and run the servers.

His rise to Sysop has left a gap in the Admin team, and I'm very proud to announce that we've decided to promote ch7 to Administrator.

ch7 joined TD in June 2007 and too has been both FLS and Uploader, and one of the first to hold the highest ancillary staff rank of FLS & Uploader before being promoted to Moderator just over 2 years ago. ch7 has been instrumental in helping to manage our #Td-invite channel, as well as helping to beta test TDv2 and he also greatly assisted with the beta testing of TDTD, a utility actively used by hundreds of members.

You will note that there is now a shortage of Moderators, and we will very shortly be interviewing carefully selected candidates to see who would be best suited to serving in those roles.

Please join me in congratulating these two on their promotions here.
