Thanks to everyone for making this our most celebrated birthday to date! Unfortunately we will be bringing the Site-Wide Free Leech and the 2x upload to an end this Sunday the 6th at around midnight GMT. Please remember that all Internals (more than half of the torrents on the site) will be staying free after the birthday! Please refer to the first News post about the birthday for more information on all that.

Edit (2011-11-07 1AM GMT): Site-Wide Free Leech and 2x Upload have been turned off.


This News post also serves as notice of a change to the Minimum Seedtime Requirements (as listed in the Rules). We feel it's only appropriate that we extend it from "3 days or until you hit 1:1 ratio" to "7 days or until you hit 1:1 ratio". Lets face it, if you're not seeding for at LEAST 7 days on everything I don't know how you're surviving here. Most of us seed for weeks, months, and even years, so the minimum seedtime is a bit silly for 90% of the site. But some members need to be reminded that long seedtimes are the best thing they can contribute to this site (other than contributing encodes or donations ).

Please note that we try not to be jerks about this rule. If your seedbox crashes or you have a HDD failure at home and you're forced to hit and run, we always cut people slack. But habitual hit and running, the kind of stuff that can't be explained away with a single instance of hardware failure, is not tolerated and is punished severely.
