Free Leech Continues!


As promised we're bumping the celebrations up a notch with a Site-Wide Free Leech on all torrents currently on the site. You can look forward to at least another week of free leech like this, maybe more and some other "prizes" if everyone behaves themselves. There are a few specifics to note here however:

-We will not be making any new non-exclusive encodes free. Only current non-exclusives already on the site will be included in the Free Leech. We want to give people a chance to grab any special non-exclusives they have been waiting to download, but we do not want to encourage a massive influx of lesser quality encodes like what has happened during past birthdays. Basically, any new scene releases or encodes from outside this site that get uploaded during the rest of our birthday will not be free. Just the old stuff.

-We will continue to make new exclusive releases free, just as we have done over the past week. However now we're setting that to an automatic system instead of a manual one. Be warned that abuse of the exclusive system will not be tolerated. Do not mark encodes that you did not encode yourself as exclusive. Please note that all Internal Encodes, old and new, will forever be permanent freebies like the 1st Bday News post explained.

-All free torrents will display the normal *FREE* tag, like we've been doing the past week for the Exclusive Free Leech. Don't blindly download anything and everything new if you only want to grab freebies. 99.9% of the site might be free leech at the moment, but please look before you download.


We'd like to give a big thanks to all our users who have donated thus far during the celebrations. You guys quickly sent us to 100% for this month and beyond. Normally when we go above 100% donations the meter just stops at 100 so that users see we've met the monthly goal, and anything beyond that goal obviously goes into the sites coffers for the next month. But during the Birthday we wanted to show you guys just how generous you were being, so we modified the meter a bit to display how far above 100% we've gone for the month.

A big thanks again to all those who have donated, and a future thanks to all those who plan to donate! :w00t:

If you need more slots in order to seed all the torrents that you grab during this free leech, please contact staff via the IRC Help Channel, or via a short Staff PM to the Moderator class. We'll give you all the slots you need to seed, you just have to ask.
