Leechfest Ending
As the leechfest is coming to an end in less than 24 hours at the time of this announcement's writing, we'd like to remind you that every torrent announce after midnight server time is counted normally. This means that if your download hasn't finished during the freeleech period, the remaining bytes are added to your totals normally. You can see the countdown clock on the front page.

350k Peers
Due to the nature of the freeleech period and the size of the existing download queue we're going to change the way we're checking our target of 350,000 peers. If we reach that number at any time within the following seven (7) days after the freeleech period has ended, we consider the target met. In practice this means that you should start seeding as many torrents as you can, when the number of downloaders on them are reduced to normal amounts and your bandwidth isn't choked.

New Uploads
After the freeleech period, the site is open to new torrent uploads again. We urge our users to use common sense with them. We don't want to restrict new uploads by force, but there is little point to flood the site with new uploads right after the leechfest. Instead, spread your upcoming uploads over the next few weeks.

Aftereffects
It's up to you to decide whether this leechfest will have a positive or negative effect on our community. If we stop downloading and seeding torrents and hold onto our dear ratios like our lives depend on them, the community will suffer. If we use our bytes for good, the community will thrive.

So keep on seeding those torrents. Keep on downloading. With the upload bytes from leechfest, you should able to grab anything you like for a long time. If your ratio is great and you have more buffer than you can waste, use your bytes to help the community. Support the subtitling projects we call Pots on the forums. Help your invitees and other users by donating bonus bytes to them. If you don't know who to help, ask a moderator for suggestions. Keep making requests. Use reseed requests to get the torrent you forgot to grab during the leechfest reseeded. Keep on uploading new and interesting films, albums and books. Take pride of making that rip you're preparing as good as humanly possible. Together we're stronger.

Remember that the more we all download the easier it is for everyone to keep their ratio!
