In your profile's torrent history (https://avistaz.to/profile/(your username)/history), the last column shows if you have accrued a HnR strike for that torrent.

In torrenting terms, a hit-and-run is when you download a torrent but don't make a decent effort to seed it back. Under current rules, you are required to seed every torrent to 0.5 ratio at minimum (not that anyone's been enforcing that...) but with the HnR system, it is replaced with an automated time-based system.

Right now, the system is using a basic model but changes can be expected. The requirements of the current HnR are:

    • 72 hours minimum for every torrent + extra 2 hours per GB. For example:

    • <1GB torrent = 72 hours
    • 7GB torrent = 72 + 2*7 = 86 hours = 3 days 14 hours
    • 20GB torrent = 72 + 2*20 = 112 hours = 4 days 16 hours
    • 150GB torrent = 72 + 2*150 = 372 hours = 15 days 12 hours
(We might introduce a maximum for the really big torrents, this is why it's in testing phase)

    • If you've still got it active in your client, then it won't show as a HnR.
    • A ratio of over 1.0 on a torrent will neutralise HnR for that torrent.

It's still in testing phase so detected HnR's have no effect on your account! We're just making sure things are calculated and get marked properly. This page will be updated as the system is developed and an announcement will be made when it is finalised and goes live.
