IRC prizes for August
Dear users!

Please excuse the delay of the August prize. We've been busy with many behind-the-scenes things, including rewriting a good part of Site's code and so on. Now, the prizes.

August - this is done, we peaked at 181 users on 21 August
It was promised to be something special and it is. Every person who was in the channel during the August peak will have 20% of his Downloaded data removed (e.g. if you downloaded 200GB total, 20% (=40GB) will be subtracted from your DL stats, so you will have 160GB). Note that this will significantly and very positively influence your ratio and buffer. We have changed our ratio policy and this prize is meant to help you out at least a bit.

September's prize will remain a surprise for the time being, yet you can surely expect something to help you out there. So far we've peaked at 190 users on 5 September.

In October there will be no regular peak contest, since I can feel some Happy Hours coming, although nothing is sure yet. *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*. If only HH will be to come, there will need to be a certain number of users on IRC - something what we have already done once (June.) Expect a bit higher limit than last time. Then we expected 250 users and the channel peaked at 267.
