Donation Drive
Over the past several months, PTP has struggled to meet its donation requirements. We realize that this was in part due to a high minimum donation requirement -- as such, it has been reduced to 0.0022 BTC to keep pace with the rise of the value of Bitcoin. Donations are used to cover the cost of servers, equipment and security measures to keep the site safe. When these costs are not met, we are forced to cover the difference ourselves. If you are financially able and enjoy using this site, please consider chipping in. At present, donating with Bitcoin is the only method we accept -- please send a Staff PM if you would like any guidance on the process.

Staff Retirements
Today, we say goodbye to the longest reigning staff member in the history of PTP: 312c. 312c has been staff with us for nearly 8 years, the vast vast majority of the site's almost nine years of existence. He was a Torrent Specialist under DAQ and Z, became an Assistant Director when Cronus took over the site in 2010, but was soon promoted to Developer, a position in which he has had massive impact throughout the years. Similarly with his strong voice in the tracker community. Maybe not always the most savoury and elegant voice, but strong and fiercely intelligent regardless.
312c is PTP.

komodo whom some of you may have become acquainted with, has also decided to hang up their cleats and move on to different pastures. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavours.

IRC
As some of you will have noticed, IRC has been down for a couple of weeks now. We don't really have any updates, other than that we are working on solutions to bring it back up. An ETA is not currently possible.

Invites and Recruitment
The user limit has been raised to 35,000, and user invites are once again valid. Likewise we'll be recruiting on selected sites.
