We have activated a new kind of system for users, who are struggling with their share ratios. This new system means that no user will find his account disabled due to poor ratio.

Previously, if a user fell under the minimum ratio requirements (as explained on the rules page, he was warned. When the warning ran out, his ratio was once again checked. If it was above the requirement, the warning was removed, but if it was under, his account was disabled. This will change now. When the warning runs out and the user is still under the ratio requirement, he will be placed on probation.

During probation the user cannot download any new torrents, except active Featured Torrents. He can seed torrents that he has already completed or the torrents he has uploaded himself.

The probation will be automatically lifted, when the user has climbed above the ratio requirements by seeding the torrents he already had and possibly by downloading new Featured Torrents. After that, he can download any torrents normally.

The probation system is in beta stage. If you encounter any bugs or have any suggestions, please write to Daeron.

Also if you had an invitee, whose account was disabled due to poor ratio, it's possible for him to get back in. Drop a post on this forum topic and explain the situation. Be sure to mention that the invitee was disabled due to poor ratio and you'd like him to be placed on probation, so he can fix the ratio himself.
