To address some recurring things we've been seeing, we'll post some FAQ's here from time to time. Obviously, if you haven't noticed, we're going through some growing pains, so we thank you for your patience as the small number of us work through load issues, respond to questions, or just have the occasional mild panic attack and step away for a few hours!

• Auto-reported torrents - we have a very trimmed-down set of fields and flags for each torrent; sometimes the auto-parser (which we continually attempt to improve) misses things, and we just want staff to verify. A report isn't a punishment; it's just a way of identifying something to be double-checked. This should have no effect on announces / tracker behavior, but if it does, please let us know. If you do find a missing tag, and are within your user class's lockout window for edit, please do edit the torrent, as that makes resolving the report easier on us.
• Shout mirroring to IRC has been (possibly temporarily) moved to #ant-shout. Knock into it the same way you get into #ant. We're exploring two-way functionality in the future. All users are still free to use #ant as an IRC general chat room for Anthelion, it will not mirror into SB at this time.
• There is a LOT of activity going on in shout / forums / irc. We try to monitor and we're super-grateful to current members helping each other out. KZ (our dev) is primarily watching the Suggestions & Bugs forums. If you have a question that doesn't get answered in the Shoutbox or IRC, feel free to ask in an appropriate forum, like Help.
• Some of our Rules were written back when dinosaurs walked the earth, and should probably either go away, or be modified in some way. We are working on amending the upload rules based on the influx of new users and torrents. As of now, all foreign films are welcome on ANT, but will be trumpable by releases that include Eng subs/dub tracks. Also please don't be surprised if these break our reporting system, we will work through that as it happens
• Please stop +1'ng threads, if you like the suggestion, then instead leave a heart on it, those are counted and let us know the level of interest, +1 replies do nothing but take up space and make reading the thread messier.
• Access to both Bookmarks and the Release Description, has been globally enabled for all user classes now.
• Uploading made for TV movies or Mini-Series are in fact permitted, please verify the tmdb id shows as /tv/ and if so ensure your upload is checked as miniseries and not feature film, else the parse will fail.
