Happy Birthday Morethan.tv!

When my Friends and myself started this tracker, we wanted something totally different. Those who have been with us from the beginning know that we started as dracu.tv ( devil in Romanian ).

But, the entire idea of Morethan.tv started two months after launching Dracu.tv on exactly this day i.e November 17th. Last year, we celebrated a bit earlier since it was our first anniversary and we wanted to celebrate the entire effort, i.e from the beginning of dracu.tv and not just Morethan.tv

I don't know where to even start. It has been two long years and there's still a lot more to come. But, the most important thing that i can say on this anniversary is that the site is still just a mere baby and it's growing pretty fast into a smart and beautiful adult.

In these two years we saw everything. From good things like a nice community, almost 2 Million snatches, a strong internal group etc and we remained the same. Every important decision we have taken together as a community. We also saw few bad things that aren't even worth mentioning. I will mention though that i failed personally in delivering V1. I can assure you that it's my fault entirely and not the staff or anyone else. I promise you that we'll deliver you the new version of the site as quickly as possible so that we can make up for the failure of V1.

I always believed that a tracker needs two things the most i.e friendly Community and great Content. I'm proud to say that i truly believe that we've achieved both.

The plan still remains the same. We promised on day one that we will keep the site running no matter what from our own money and this is what we've done so far and will continue to do so in the future. And i will remind you of this every year not because we want something but just to let you know of our commitment to provide you with one safe, free place you can call your TV Home.

I don't want to give you too much to read since Christmas is nearby and we will need to send you a card for that as well. So, i will stop here but not until i say thanks to some people starting with :

1) Our staff, both past and present. It has been an honor to be your friend and help make this site what it is now.

2) This wonderful community that hasn't forced me to disable too many accounts for bad behavior and trusted us from the moment they joined the tracker. I'd like to add that only 1 account has been banned so far for inappropriate behavior (Told you that we are a friendly bunch).

3) To all friendly trackers especially those who helped us from the beginning with their knowledge, content and even friendly advice. (HDB especially)

4) To recruiters who helped this tracker grow.

5) In the end, to all the haters who just make our work more and more enjoyable.

That being said, the Champagne is from our side. Dom Pérignon bottle should be enough, no?
