Vuze support ending, BiglyBT provisionally allowed


Effective immediately:

Vuze versions newer than 5.7.6.0 (the current version) will not be allowed
BiglyBT version 1.2.0.0 will be allowed provisionally. If no issues are found, it will stay, and new versions will be checked manually for now.

BiglyBT is a new fork of Vuze, by a couple of its (now ex) developers, that removes the ads, paid versions, and extra software in the installer.



Effective 2018-03-01:

All Vuze versions will stop being supported on the tracker. Even if BiglyBT support is dropped.
Reasons include (but are not limited to):

• Has software additions in its installer that are hard (or maybe even impossible) to avoid
• Has Ads
• Pushes you towards paid versions that have no meaningful additions
