    Happy 5th Birthday, MoreThanTV!!!

    So five years have gone by...

    To start, I want to thank everyone that has helped us come this far, including past and current staffers, FLS, and all of you, the awesome members of our community. Here are some staff updates, some fluff, some news, and some fun for y'all this week.

    Most importantly is the promotions of our long-suffering, loyal and hardworking Staff and FLS. Z* has been promoted to the Director position because of his excessive dedication to MTV, and his deep willingness to do the heavy work and leading the FLS. P*, e*, and S*, who have been promoted to Managers, each with new areas of responsibility and a focus to taking our beloved community forward in their own ways. Oh, and an open welcome to all of all the current FLS which have joined in the past year, T*, G*, P*, and a*.

    The fact that we have survived this long is an inspiration for us all. Nevertheless, our survival depends on our strong and wonderful community, and everywhere I look, I see satisfied users that participate and inspire us to do far more than survive, but also thrive. I'm so glad that I can call myself a part of this wonderful community.

    I'm so proud of this community

    We have plans to grow further in regards to development, specifically a complete backend overhaul. We can't make any promises, but more plans are being developed, including a potential infrastructure revamp and a massive upgrade of our servers to increase stability. We might also have more scripts written to control certain aspects of the tracker without needing full authorization from upper management, preventing future hiccups like the one that happened last month.

    To our supporters, it's always motivating to read that people enjoy using our site. MTV is run by a bunch of buddies that aren't immune to bad motivation, so you guys are a breath of fresh air.

    Now the part you've been waiting for! We have a few contests for our birthday week, with prizes including Seedboxes, invites, VIP, and custom titles.

    A note about the seedboxes, they have been sponsored by UltraSeedbox. A massive thanks to the amazing Enon from USB, for providing them to us! UltraSeedbox is a wonderful provider of seedboxes with fast support and many options available for different types of users.

    Contest 1: General Raffle

    Rules: Any user can participate, except staff members and members with current warnings or invites disabled. The contest closes on November 23rd at 11:59 UTC.

    Place a total of ONE post in the discussion thread for this post, with your greetings and your favorite television show or movie.

    Winners will be chosen randomly.
    1. Five (5) winners will receive VIP for 3 months, 2 invites, custom title, and One (1) 30-day seedbox provided by UltraSeedbox.
    2. Ten (10) winners will receive VIP for 1 month, custom title, 1 invite.
    3. Ten (10) winners will receive the choice of custom title or 1 invite.



    Contest 2: Seedbox Raffle

    Rules: Anyone with the rank of Camera Operator or higher can participate, except staff members and members with current warnings or invites disabled. The contest closes on November 23rd at 11:59 UTC.
    • Place a total of ONE post on the designated forum thread. Count, starting from 1, incrementing 1 per post. The catch? You gotta post an image depicting the number, hosted on Imgur or PTPimage with BBCode. Here is a reference of BBCodes for images.
    • If someone posts at the same time as you and you posted the same number, don't post again, you both have a chance of winning.
    • The picture should have the number visible somewhere. So no picture of 8 apples for the number eight, it should have the number on it somewhere.

    Winners will be chosen randomly so everyone participating has a chance. If you have posted more than once, you will be disqualified.
    1. First 10 picks: One (1) 30-day Seedbox from UltraSeedbox, 1 custom title, 1 invite.
    2. Next 10 picks: Choice of custom title or invite.



    Contest 3: The Mascot

    Rules: Anyone can participate except members with current warnings or invites disabled. The contest closes on November 23rd at 11:59 UTC.


    We can't promise that it will replace the existing mascot, but the winning banner designer will receive a 30-day Seedbox from UltraSeedbox, a custom title, VIP, and 3 invites. High-effort designers chosen by staff get the choice of an invite or a custom title.


    Contest 4: Adopt A Show Raffle

    Rules: The only people who qualify for this giveaway are current AAS members who are seeding, as of November 16th, 2019, excluding staff members and members with current warnings or invites disabled.

    • All winners will be contacted by the AAS Leader erozion before receiving their prize.
    • Any winners who fail to respond by November 23rd, 2019 will forfeit their prize.

    1. Two (2) AAS members chosen at random will receive One (1) seedbox provided by UltraSeedbox, VIP for 3 months, 1 invite, custom title.
    2. Five (5) AAS members chosen at random will receive VIP for 1 month, choice of custom title or invite.
