V2 no longer generates bonus points

As mentioned in the mid-year announcement, MP3 V2 is no longer an officially recognized format and will become trumpable by V0 or better.

During the transition period, V2 formats no longer acquire bonus points, so you may begin to remove them from your clients.

In the coming days we will go through the catalog and remove any V2 formats that are present in a release group when there is V0 or 320 present. V2 will only be kept if it is the only lossy format in the group.

After the catalog has been cleaned, the rules and trumping diagram will be updated to indicate that V2 is trumped by V0 or 320. At that point, you are welcome to file reports for V2 trumps. At the same time, bonus points will resume for the surviving V2 formats that remain.
