As some of you may know, we were experiencing a problem with our hosting provider. The AnimeBytes servers are paid for anonymously using our users' cryptocurrency donations; however, our host's payment processor (BitPay) began requiring us to provide full KYC for any payment (of any value) made to companies located in the EU. We are unable to provide this identification, and as such, we were unable to pay for continued hosting and services.

Luckily, we have managed to find a solution, and the site's continued operation has been secured. A quick recap of things:

• The animebytes.tv domain has been transferred to a secure registrar and is safely under our control.
• The animebytes.es domain is no longer to be used; we cannot continue paying for it or transfer it to a different registrar due to nic.es regulations requiring ID document scans of the new and former owner. It expires in April.
• The IRC server has been moved to a new hosting provider. However, it will no longer support connections over IPV6 as a result.
• The site's hosting situation has been resolved, and we will continue operations.

The site will be undergoing maintenance for up to 24 hours. If you cannot connect to the site, there is no cause for concern. Due to these changes, our donation goal has been increased from £** to £**.
