Rule #1 : Don't talk about Fight Club baconBits.

With all of our recent additions from the birthday invite extravaganza and reddit invites, we thought now would be a good time to go over something — just to remind everyone (new and old alike) of the importance of keeping bB out of the spotlight.

Our torrenting world is changing; we need your help to continue to protect our walled garden of bacon goodness from those who wish to bring it down. You have likely heard about the Copyright Alert System (a.k.a. Six Strikes) that went into effect Monday, Feb. 25th. Some of you are already discussing it in our forums. While we don't expect it to affect our members, now is a great time to start discussing ways to keep yourself and our site safe.

We have always tried to minimize our spot in the tracker world, we want bB to remain in the shadows and out of the public eye. We don't want any attention at all.

So, what do we want from you? Don't talk about baconBits outside of baconBits. If you do see someone on reddit talking about us or a post on some site, let us know. We will do our best to get it removed. The less people know about us, the better. Just remember, posting screenshots, cut-n-pastes, internal links, .torrent files, talking about files or internal details about the site are bannable offenses.

Don't do it.

Keep it to yourself.
