Since the time Bitsoup opened its doors in 2004 the site has grown far larger then any
of us could have ever dreamed could happen. Trying to maintain over 14,000 torrents
for over 110.000 people has put a very large strain on our current hardware and we
seem to be flat out of luck.

Already not quite managing to make ends meet for some time now already keeps Bitsoup
in a difficult position and not having been able to properly replace or upgrade hardware
since the one time we pretty much had to beg for your help, we are now facing a situation
once again.

In the last days of May unfortunately our somewhat aging webserver has passed away
on us. Bitsoups pages have been moved to a less capable back-up server that we managed
to obtain for the time being and we're keeping the site together and running the best we can,
but this won't upkeep Bitsoup in the longer term and Bitsoups webserver needs a replacement
sooner rather then later.

We will do whatever we can to make this happen but as reality is that Bitsoup is only barely
surviving from month to month, we are facing a far larger expense then we can possibly
handle at this time or any time soon. We need help to see Bitsoup through this in one piece
and the only people we can call out to for assistance is all of you.

Facing a dire situation while wanting to remain with all you for many years to come, all we can
do is plead with all of you for this community to stand with us once more and consider helping
Bitsoup which currently needs all the help it can get.
