It looks like groups and racers, are going on a 30 day strike. I am guessing it starts from when serum was released by certain group which was 10/10/14.
Pro Audio Torrents is Old Skhool we believe in try before you buy and to give the Developers a chance, some breathing space. We also advocate you buy the products to keep the Developers and company's a reason to keep doing what they do, and what we love, make new and interesting products. I am going to paste what R2R have to say............

RELEASE NOTE :

Previous release in the P2P has bad cracks and keygens. It will
triggers bombs when you use certain functions. At least it does not
pass hidden few checks.

SPECiAL NOTE :
Because of our personal respect for developer, we decided not to
release until the intro price ends and we thought this is good one
for Xmas. But it's over, since someone uploaded half working cracks
to the p2p, and Waves released CODEX which functions very similar to
this Serum, we had to change our mind, sad to say.

R2R really hope you guys buying if you like it. We are not saying
only about Serum. There are lots of great plugins with affordable
price and protection. Always remember the words in the NFO.

"Support the good developer if you like it.
We would like to support you for free as long as you understand
what you are doing and what it means."

One more thing to mention. Sometime we see the comment like "Don't
abuse small developers!" but it is not always true; The big company
needs much more money than small developer, to pay the salary to
employy, to hire the good engineer, and to acomplish the big
projects. Never think using NI or Waves for free has less guiltiness
than using Reaper, PSP or Voxengo.

Now we proved that our ego does not care the speed.
