Retiring TXT & CHM (and a side note)
Posted 8 hours, 40 minutes ago In the past few years, TXT and CHM torrents have declined significantly, in contrast to more established ebook formats like ePub, AZW3, Mobi, or PDF. Thus, Bibliotik is officially retiring the TXT and CHM formats for new uploads. No new torrents in those formats should be uploaded, and the remaining 500 or so TXT or CHM torrents can now be trumped by any other ebook format, as long as it provides styling/formatting beyond plain text.

A side note: While naming conventions for torrent titles have been in place for a number of months now, there are still numerous instances where it seems they are being ignored (despite the red-lettered notification box on the upload pages). Please take a moment to review Uploading : Naming Conventions, especially for things like book edition/series listings or audiobook bitrate information. This is required for new uploads, and we also ask that you take a moment to go through any older torrents you've uploaded, to make sure they're updated accordingly. If the conventions are repeatedly neglected, despite comments or PMs from staffers asking for corrections, a member's uploading privileges can and will be disabled.
