log v2, ptpimg, and misc updates


Hi everyone!

After almost 2 weeks of using our new codebase, we're extremely pleased with the way the site is headed and the new functionality that's available to us. It's been a lot of fun to work with a fresh codebase (and one that's only managed by one person... no random/unknown updates).

Today, we're rolling out a few new features. Okay, maybe some of them were available before, but we're going to announce them officially now.

1. ptpimg.me
We now have our own image hosting service. No bullshit, just image hosting, like it should be. A few hosts will resize images, compress them to JPG, and for our high quality (and sometimes high-res) images here on the site, we needed something better.

2. Log v2
The log page has been improved. You can now view site changes (such as torrent uploads, torrent comments, and forum posts) in real time. You also have the old log messages in real-time (marked as 'Other'). You have the ability to hide any of these messages.

3. Ratings
There have been new additions to the movie details page, as people have experienced over the past week or so. We carry metacritic, rotten tomatoes, and, as usual, imdb ratings. Now we have re-implemented user ratings. You can click on the popcorn bucket within the ratings section to vote.

4. Invites
Members have received 2 invites, power users have received 3, and Elites have received 4. Elites no longer have unlimited invites (sorry!). Torrent Masters are unaffected by invite changes - they still have unlimited.

5. Bug fixes
There have been a lot of bug fixes applied on site lately, and many more are expected to come. I have a favor to ask, though. Please only keep bugs on the Bug Report forum. Do not request new features there. Make a post on the suggestions boards and it will be easier to keep track of, thank you

6. Appreciation
Special thanks to everyone who has reported bugs, and our designers (lerk08 and trza), for their hard work over the past two weeks. You have made the transition to v2 a smooth one (for the most part )
