Down with the Downtime

The recent downtime you may have noticed over the weekend was caused by hardware failure. This had terrible timing of being discovered late Friday night, and not being able to get the replacement's until Monday/Tuesday. It seems the root cause was a power supply failure. That little PSU had served well though. I want to say this box had somewhere in the 800+ days of uptime. We are currently stable for the immediate future, but will be looking into migrating to a new chassis as a precaution against further hardware failure in this veteran server. There should not have been any data loss.

And, Free Leech has been turned on site wide (everything is free as long as you see the "Free Leech!" notice at the top of the site) just as a little "sorry 'bout that" gesture after the unplanned downtime.

We have begun a Donation Drive for the Summer or Winter (depending on your hemisphere). The rainy day fund has dried up. The rest of May is covered, but we will need an influx to cover June, July, August.. as well as attempt to re-fill the rainy day fund.
