Invitations - how to invite while the system fails to do so ?

We now experienced some trouble with invitations for a few months.

.... has worked out a way to deal with invitations manually

How?

1) Read the rule(s) regarding new invites ( you have some responsibillity for the behavior of the person you invite.....)
2) Send the username and the e mail adress to .... or ..... ( via PM - do not use the forum)
3) You will receive confirmation of the new account for that username and e mail adress + a password to log in
4) Give username / e mail / password to the person you have invited and ask him to login
5) PM the MOD who has done the invitation for you to confirm the login ( or failure, which we don't expect )
6) Remind the new member to change his password

This way of invite members will be in place as long as the automatic system fails to do so
