Update on account security

We have already had multiple reports of people gaining unauthorized access to accounts on PB, via the use of usernames and passwords mined through the recent TB source exploit, PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PASSWORDS.

We are not responsible for fixing ratios due to mined account data from other torrent sites. If you are one of those people that tend to use the same password everywhere, i suggest you go update your passwords here, and anywhere else that you don't want people to have access to…

Server upgrades

We have recently noticed that our current hardware is just not coping with the increased active user base since the code base upgrade. We are looking at consolidating our hosting plan hopefully upgrading our servers while lowering our costs. i will keep you updated.

Keep your account safe

Recently, a few torrent sites have had their databases compromised. Although those sites did have their passwords encrypted, it was only by md5. This means it is possible, with some effort, to decode those passwords. What this means for you is that if you use the same username and password at other torrent sites, you should strongly consider changing your password(s).
