    Re: Kraytracker

With 2010 winding down, it's time to look ahead to 2011 and any number of upcoming extinction prophecies. In the meantime, however, we here are Kray are looking to start 2011 off fresh and streamlined and hopefully improve the user experience of 98% of our users by cracking down on the 2% who are still ignoring some of our more basic rules.

To start, freeleech will be extended a few days and will instead end at 12:00 AM EST on January 3rd. At this time, all users still in the "leecher" class will be banned. This gives you approximately one week with freeleech on your side to get your ratio to acceptable levels. This pruning will also affect ALL USERS who have "hit and run" percentages above 50% as of 12:00 AM EST on January 3rd. After January 3rd, those users who have hit and run percentages above 35% but less than 50% will have ONE (1) additional week to get their hit and runs below 35%. After this additional week and permanently as of January 10th, any user with an H&R percentage over 35% will be warned ONCE for a period of one week, and will then be banned unless that percentage drops below 35.

To clarify, a hit and run can be removed at any time merely by seeding the torrent in question for the minimum 48 hours required. A list of your hit and runs and the seeding time still needed can be found on your user CP page. For those of you who have questions about how to remove Hit and Runs, you have several options.

You are being given fair warning, and no whining or complaining about bans for these reasons will be listened to after this freeleech period. For tips on fixing hit and runs, please see the rules page.
