Hi there! The site has been working pretty well, and we're happy overall. However, we said we weren't done, and we meant it. There are some changes going into effect today. Some of these are going to be run into by a lot of users; others should not, if your account is in good standing.


Members will no longer be banned for exceeding the two-week ratio watch period. Instead, download privileges will be disabled until such time as the member's ratio is above his or her required ratio. Download privileges will be disabled automatically if a) more than 2GB is downloaded during ratio watch, or b) if the ratio is not at or above the minimum required ratio at the end of the ratio watch period. If download privileges are disabled for these reasons, they will not be re-enabled for any reason until the minimum required ratio is met (based on amount downloaded).
Imageshack and Tinypic will no longer be allowed as imagehosts. The upload form will take care of letting people know if they forget. The reasoning for this is simple: Imageshack has gotten terrible about hotlinked images, often replacing them with an Imageshack-branded placeholder, which surely people have seen around the site. Tinypic is actually worse - they have a habit of deleting images and reusing URLs, so what you upload may not be what's there in a year. Whatimg is preferred for those that have access to it, but Imgur is a close second.
Bookmarking now works within collections. Previously the bookmark indicator that was in torrent tables everywhere else was not present in collections. This has been rectified, so now you can bookmark torrents straight from the torrent list on a collection's page!
For designers: Category images on pages with torrent lists (and torrent pages themselves) are now CSSified, which should make it easier to modify those images on custom stylesheets.
egarding invites, recruitment has restarted on select trackers. We will be reopening personal invites for individual members when we're satisfied that everything is working well while adding new members to the mix.

There are also various bug fixes and backend tweaks to help keep things running as smoothly as they have been recently.
