New Server


Oh yes yes , you have read it right , it is indeed "New Server" in announcement's title :whistle: . So after long long time we have finally decided to move to a new server and we did purchased a new server. Now we just have to do some backup and other Domain stuffs and we will be able to move to our "New Server" in some days :cool1:


Now we wanted to inform everyone about the move few days in advance because if there is any downtime or other problems with DB or login issues then everyone should know how to get in touch with the staffers and what all possible ways are there. So i will list down 2 ways:

1. Irc support chan: ( This is easy and most efficient way )
All one has to do is, join the support chan or even main chan of FSC and some staffer will sort every query one has.

Server: irc.xevion.net
Chan: #FSC-support

To enter support chan , one has to register their nick, they can do so by joining the server with their site nick and they type: /msg nickserv register pass email . Replace pass and email with some appropriate password you want and add some email id.

To join main chan, you have to set IRC pass in profile and type : /msg annbot invite "pass" and it will invite the person in the main chan. For more info plz check FAQ page for IRC thread.


2. Support Email: (This is for those who never used IRC and has some issues joining IRC)
Well you can send your query on this email, but keep in mind this might not get quick reply.

Encoding Group (Sharing)



We have decided to start internal ripping group once again after some demand and initative by few members. The FSC internal encoding team group name is "Sharing" based on our site name FSC

So those who are interested in learning encoding or those who already has some encoding skills and would like to be part of the "Sharing" group can pm me (Goku123k) and then i will add you to the group.

We do have some easy guides posted in encoding forums and anyone can read that and learn encoding + we do have 1-2 good encoders who are ready to help and present in IRC also for real time chat. So if anyone is interested in learning and got some time then they can join the team. :fsclove:

New FAQ Threads


There are 2 new threads in FAQ section now, 1 is to explain all sort of symbols and icons placed at different location in site like "Request page" which many had problem finding and new people has some doubts about torrent page icons.

Other thread is about IRC auto downloader script/tutorial . Those who want to add the script can just check this thread and can setup it in 5 min with the steps mentioned in the thread.
