Just to clarify: "Activity" means come to the site and use it (aka "click on something"). Logging in/out is not required (although that does constitute activity, but you don't need to do it).

The most common misunderstanding is that automatic downloading and/or seeding does NOT constitute activity. Of course we love all long-term seeders, but you still have to actually visit the site and at the very minimum, click on a link once a month in order to keep your account.


This isn't just a rule we made up on our own, it's the standard at every private site on the planet. Admittedly, some sites don't enforce this rule so they can inflate their user numbers, but basically every site has it. We DO enforce the rule because we want to keep this site small, active and community-based; and IMO it works quite well to get rid of the deadweight and site collectors.

Of course, we would prefer that you do a lot more than just "click on a link" every month and we give a lot of leniency, but disabling your account for inactivity is non-negotiable if your userclass is <LiMEY Master and you haven't visited for 45 days. Not even staff can stop it since it's automatic.

If you have been a generally active user but were disabled because of a 1-time circumstance, then we may re-enable your account IF you visit us at irc.pixelhd.me: #pixelhd-help ...but if you were disabled for inactivity and you also have very little download/posting activity then there's almost no hope of getting your account re-enabled.

Finally, as AtheistP3ace mentions, use the irc channel and never try to PM Staff just because your friend's account was disabled. If you do that without a really good reason, your account is likely to be at risk too.
