Clarification regarding invitation rules!

In the recent days, Extremebits together with some other torrent trackers decided to ban a few members who were giving out invites to random people on a torrent invitation forum. Many people here are for sure members solely thanks to these persons!

What we want to do now is to issue a warning to every member, clarifying the fact that the rules clearly state that trading invites to other trackers or giving out invites in so called "giveaways" to random people, is strictly forbidden!

Many of those people who has received invites from such giveaways have been caught cheating or with a bad ratio resulting in a ban. This compromises our content, our site and you as a member here. Never give an invite to someone you do not know or trust completely. You as a member are fully responsible for those you invite, and if they don't follow the rules or get banned, the risk of you getting privileges revoked on Extremebits is highly increased. It may even lead to a ban of the member who invited those who did not follow the rules!

So, if you are a member at any forum that conducts in giveaways, or if you hand out invites to random people in any other way, please stop doing that!

To all those who know for a fact that they were invited through an invitation from a torrent invitation forum, we know who you are! We also know what your username on that forum is, and all information necessary to identify you on any other tracker. Take the advice and stop doing what you do, and start respecting the rules of the trackers you are a member of!
We have decided to let you stay members on this site for now, though we have taken away your rights to invite other people, since you obviously can't be trusted with that privilege!
