New Design & Features

We have a new, experimental, site layout and lots of new features available to our members, courtesy of our Head Coder, alexj! As you have probably already noticed there is now a static bar at the top of every page where you will find the menu as well as a simplified search bar. There is also a new sidebar which you are able to customize in your profile to show either new torrents, forum posts, random or you can disable it altogether. As this new layout is still under construction, you will notice that not all pages have been modified to fit the new design. We will be updating these in the coming weeks so please bare with us.

We also have several new experimental features up for preview! Under the browse section of the menu you will now find two new links to two experimental features. One is the Movie Gallery which will let you browse all the movies on ST in a simplified manner, allowing you to directly view movie details and download them without the need to go clicking through the browse page. The second feature, TV Schedule, allows you to browse the site by show, pull details directly from tvrage.com and download new episodes as they become available. On the IRC page, under the community tab on the menu, you will now see a page for IRC Graphs, which will allow you to see the statistics for IRC chat activity. As if the 4 seperate ways to connect to IRC wasn't enough, we now have an idiot proof Web Chat that requires nothing but going to the Chat page under the community tab, or simply by clicking "Community" on the menu. By popular demand, a bright red banner will now appear at the top of every page when you have a new message along with the old message indicator on the new static menu/search bar.

We would like to stress that these are purely experimental features as they are not yet complete, nor are they fully integrated with the site. Your opinions and suggestions will help us refine these two new pages into permanent ST features. We hope you like the new digs and please feel free to stop by the forums and tell us what you think.
