Important information regarding passwords!
Due to the recent events in regards to RevTT and their username and password database hack (discussion here) Torrent-Damage would once again like to remind all users that you should be using a different password for every site you are on, not just torrent sites.

Why should I change my password?
You should change your password if it is not unique to this site and having different passwords for all your services, Facebook, email, torrents, bank accounts, seedboxes, paypal, lessens the effect if a hacker gains access to one.

What is a strong password?
A strong password has at least one capital letter, one number, and a symbol. The more you have the better, in addition to making your password complex you should also make it long usually 16 characters or more.

But I'm on so many different sites remembering passwords for them all it to hard, what should I do?
If you think you will have trouble remembering all these passwords you can use a password service like lastpass, keypass or a paid alternative 1password, and create one very hard password to crack and make that your master password. This does leave you with a single point of failure so you should create a strong password for it, and not store bank or paypal passwords in it.
