Well, where do I start, actually that's an easy one really and I would like to bring to everyone's attention that I* has returned to his rightful position on staff after his enforced summer sojourn, and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome him back to PtN, and it has been decided that in celebration of his return that invites & gold will be given to the members who can best make Intra laugh in his very own welcome back thread SSL Here

Welcome back mate, we all missed you


Now, onto the serious, it has come to our attention that we have a high number of members who have been here for a month or more and have 0 activity, 0 data and 0 posts. Well this is official notice that all those accounts by the end of Sept 2010 that continue to remain with 0 data or 0 posts will be disabled, and then each month a system wide search for those users. A wake up call, if you wish to keep your account - then use it and don't lose it.


PtN Review Competition. Staff have decided that Kasdeya's entry into the competition ( Here ), was such an outstanding entry that 999,999.99 of gold was given as a reward for the entry. Well, after being overwhelmed by the gold, Kasdeya has in the best traditions of PtNs sharing ideals that all the gold should be shared amongst other equally like minded sharing members here and along with staff will pick random winners who go far & beyond the normal expectations of members at PtN. So good luck everyone.


Movie Review Thread - get reading & get involved - read & post your reviews on the current movie reviews posted, if you think you can do an equally good as job as our current reviewers, and the template is there already set up - it takes a few minutes to add a few links and a bit longer to write the review, then let any staff know and we will put you in touch with the right staff. Read all the reviews so far, and post your reviews Here


Unconnectables - is currently running at between 15-19%, which is rather high for a tracker of PtNs size, if you are not connectable in your torrent client - you are in effect not helping other unconnectable members and all the burden is placed on those connectable memebrs, if you are not sure of how to get connectable - then please post in the support forums Here and we will all be along to guide you through the very easy process of getting connected.


Irc - ever wondered what we do in irc - then come & join in the fun, the easiest way if you have no idea about irc clients is PtNs very own click & point join irc way. Click on the irc link at the bottom of the page. Highlight & copy the "/msg PTNBot invite (loads of numbers here)", then click on the HERE button (in RED) which is the same as this : https://piratethe.net/irc.php?openirc=yes , double check to make sure it is your user nick in the Choose a nickname window, press connect, now paste what you copied earlier, /msg PTNBot invite (loads of numbers here) into the window at the bottom, just above smiles, and press enter, now you should be in irc and get yourself chatting


If you need email support at any time in the future, then we have set up an email support for those that can't get on or use irc, this is the one time you should make a note of what I am about to tell you - it is ptn_support@lavabit.com, it is monitored daily, so please do not expect an instant reply, but a reply within 24 hours, and remember - make a note of it now

2010-09-12 - OMG another announcement
Just wanted to say hi, and steal this opportunity to announce something from l* announcing. I think I will have a treat for folks in a few days since I am so happy to be back, so keep your eyes peeled.
