REMINDER: LEECHING & SEEDING RULES

This is a reminder to ALL userclasses that at cartoonchaos we have specific seeding rules designed to ensure everyone who wants existing torrents/files can get them.

1. You seed either for 7 days total (over 2 weeks) or to a ratio of 1 - both is even better.

2. If you cannot seed 24/7 then you MUST inform a staff member so they can put a note on your account when you can seed - this will avoid unnecessary warnings

3. If you PC "dies" you need to go use someone else's PC and inform us through the tracker or IRC - we will not attempt to read your minds - if we see you hit and run, and you do not respond to warning PMs, you will be first warned then disabled/banned.

4. Big ratios mean nothing to us if you hit & run, and kill our torrents. Seed bonus is there to help keep your ratio positive when there are no leechers, but if you hit and run on 4 torrents while seeding 4 others you will still get warned/disabled - this is not a scene or 0day tracker. Niche trackers survive by their content and hit & runners destroy that content's availability. We would rather you have a ratio of 0.25 but meet all your seeding requirements, than 25 and hit & run on half your snatches.

So before you leech a file you cannot or have no intention of seeding properly, think about the consequences. Very few people will get 2nd chances after disabling.
