Before you read any further in this announcement, know that all tokens will expire at around September 29, 23:59 site time.

With a token reminder out of the way, it has been a while since our last site update. Over the past few weeks, our team has grown, rules have changed, and the lossless torrent amount has increased. Reaching more than half a million FLAC torrents is a tremendous milestone in the history of Redacted. At the time of writing, the "Perfect" FLAC count is 506,713. Thank you!

Rule Updates


Rule 2.3.19 (embedded images and padding) has been changed from 512 KiB per file to 1024 KiB per file. As of this post, the max size for embedded images and padding may not exceed 1024 KiB per file.

New Edited Log Policy

Our policy for dealing with edited logs has also changed. In the past, torrents with edited logs were deleted. Now, the log flag will be removed from the torrent, a warning will be added to the torrent, and a PM will be sent to the uploader and all snatchers notifying them of the edited log. The standard operating procedure (warning policy) on edited logs has not changed, be sure to check your logs before uploading. As a reminder, you can check your logs against the site here. If you are unsure if a log has been edited or not, please ask a staff member before uploading.
