WE WANT YOU TO IDLE IN OUR CHANNEL!

For a few months we are going to test a truly crazy idea. Users idling in #btmusic on our ircnet will be awarded prizes! Sounds fancy enough? Read on.

Rules: The highest monthly user peak in #btmusic will be recorded and all users present in the channel at the time of such a peak will be awarded a prize. The prize will be a surprise. Sometimes it may be +2GB to your buffer, sometimes it may be +10. Sometimes we will let you freelech for 2h and sometimes for 12. There is also a chance that you may also receive 1 of our invitations. Nobody knows really. A prize for any given month will be announced at the beginning of the following month in this forum. You will surely not regret it and our #btmusic IRC channel will be the place worth being.

Example: In October, the highest users count in the #btmusic channel will be recorded on October the 16th. Every single user who was in the channel at that given moment will consequently receive a prize which will be revealed and awarded at the beginning of November. For example, if the prize is +10GB to the buffer, you will then receive 10 free GBs on 1 November.

How to join our IRC?
1) Check our IRC information page. Info given there should let you configure any IRC client, or alternatively
2) check our detailed client configuration guides in the forum for mIRC, XChat, ChatZilla and Colloguy.

If things do not work for you, you can ask for help in this thread.


Note #1: The real trial will be from 1 July onward. For the next 1.5 weeks we are going to test our setup.

Note #2 - important! If we hit more than 500 users in the channel by 17 July, there will be 24 Happy Hours as a special summer bonus.
