We are all but peers -


Some of you have noticed a small change we made to the peer list on torrents. This was in reaction to a published script that actively used peer lists to link seeders' usernames to their IP addresses.

We are in the midst of refactoring and improving the peer list to include some paranoia options; in the mean time, all users will show as "Peer" in the peer list.

Please remember - paranoia is not a security feature, it merely complicates the efforts of a determined adversary. It does not provide a guarantee of protection.

We thank you for your patience while we work on a new and improved peer list system.
