What is Hit and Run?

The term "Hit and Run" means very simply, to download a torrent and not seed it back. It is an extremely rude thing to do as you are selfishly depriving others the privilege of downloading the same torrent. Removing a finished torrent from your Bittorrent client before it has reached the required stats is a H&R and this is prohibited. All download must be set to seeding status in your client for a period of from one to several days, depending on the amounts of data shared on the torrent or the time required for seeding.

* When you complete a torrent you have to seed it for 24 hours and you have 7 days to do it.
* After 7 days if your ratio on this torrent < 1.00 or seedtime < 24 hours you take a H&R.
* When you have received 2 H&R you will be WARNED.
* You then have 7 days to fix the H&R by SEEDING.
* If you do not do this you will be BANNED...
* If you take 10 H&R (so 8 more while warnings are active) you are BANNED immediately.

Note that these penalties are applied always for all torrents, whether are free or not.
