    Beginning 2011-02-01 only XLD 20101120 (125.2) and above, using the Secure Ripper, will be accepted.

    See the updated XLD Rules for changes concerning the Secure Ripper and other minor changes. You might also care to see this Forums post.

    See this hydrogenaudio thread for discussion of the new ripping engine.

    Most (all? :tef344:) other trackers do not allow even the cdparanoia engine of the newer XLD. As many Mac uploaders still use the older version, see this Forums post for steps to manage both old and new versions.
