You can update uTorrent again!


Many thanks to the uTorrent developers who have fixed the peer ID ambiguity that existed in version 3.4.1. It appears that version 3.4.2 identifies itself correctly between stable, beta, and nightly builds and therefore meets our requirements for whitelisting once again.

Please feel free to update your uTorrent installation to 3.4.2 at this time, especially if you are still using version 3.4.1.

Edit: Whether or not you update is entirely up to you. This announcement only serves to indicate that the latest uTorrent version (3.4.2) is now whitelisted. As long as your client is listed on our Client Whitelist (which includes a number of older versions of uTorrent), you may use it.
