When we first implemented this, the idea was that with 40,000 Users on the tracker, we would have lots of members uploading, and also uploading fast pre`s from top sites etc.

After a review of this, it does not seem like its working as planned, Its still the same 10-15 members (mostly staff, but a few uploaders) who are bringing you the new releases, and the users are just not bothering.

We are willing to give this until after the New Year, but if it does not improve any, and its still the same 10-15 members uploading everything, then we may re-think this, and just let uploaders upload again, and users will be blocked from uploading anything.

Remember you can upload requests as well at this moment in time, it doesn't have to be brand new releases, and we do have 1,500 requests to fill.

If you do want to become an uploader, but it does take a commitment on your part, not 1 upload once in a blue moon, but regular uploads, then you can do so here.

Lets see how it goes for the next month, but if it does not improve, expect the privilage of uploading for Users to be removed.
