We have a new club captain! As you might have noticed already, for a while now the movie club contests have been held by somebody else: D****. He proved himself as a reliable and diligent host and earned his place as the new movie club captain


We would also like to thank his predecessor creasy for all the things he has done in that role for quite some time. This transition was of course a mutual agreement and we would like to wish our new captain all the best and a lot of fun in his new position!

In other news it seems that changes to more recent versions of Chrome and Chrome-based browsers (and only them) cause problems with using the site via https. Apparently they want a specific eggstra added to the ssl certificate. Otherwise they rejeggt it completely and force users to use completely unencrypted connections which of course is stupid.
As most of you know by now we eggsplicitly advise against using Chrome and anything related hence this is not a high priority issue. However since our cert will eggspire soon anyway, we figured we could prepone the renewal under these circumstances. So at some point over the neggst 2 or 3 weeks we'll put a new cert in place which might solve the mentioned problem. You'll then get a warning that the cert changed which of course is fine in this case.
