Here at ScienceHD, we like science. We also like smashing things together in the pursuit of said science.

The Large Hadron Collider, the particle collider we all know and love is set to come back online in March, bigger and badder than ever. With almost double the power, the sights are set for new exciting discoveries about the nature of the universe, and we are of course very excited!


To start things off, we have decided to hold a little design competition (with prizes!) during the lead-up:




Badge Competition


All you have to do to enter is create a profile badge that represents the LHC. If you're unsure about what a badge is, you can look at some examples of past profile badges here. Winners will be selected to win some fabulous prizes!




Prizes
1st: 5,000,000 credits | 1 Week Freeleech (Can be redeemed any time) | 3 Invites | Voice on IRC for the Month of March
2nd: 3,000,000 credits | 3 days Freeleech (Can be redeemed any time) | 2 Invites
3rd: 1,000,000 credits | 48 hours Freeleech (Can be redeemed any time) | 1 Invite
Other participants: 250,000 credits




Rules
You may enter as many badges as you like
The badge should be no more than 30px*30px
It should be a single png file
The badge must in some way represent the LHC
The competition ends on March 2nd
