Tracker errors and other things to be aware of
If you're having problems connecting to the tracker and the tracker URLs in your old torrents use ports 1377 or 6969, you should REMOVE the old .torrent from your client and replace it with a new one that will use the correct (and optional) ports. See MY > ANNOUNCE URLS

Alternatively, you can edit the port in the tracker URL for existing torrents. How you do that depends on your client and you should see the documentation for it or visit the author's support forum for it.

Whatever your client happens to be saying that seems out of place to you such as "Finding peers" or "Connecting to peers" or "turning red", you still have to check the TRACKER STATUS message for that torrent. If you don't know where the TRACKER STATUS message is in your client, FIND IT. This is fundamental information and everyone should know how, where and when to check it. Many times the reason for or answer to your problem can be found there and even if you don't know what it means, it would be helpful to pass on that information to anyone trying to help you.

Tracker and site URLs have changed. If your ISP's DNS server hasn't updated, try different servers. Google's DNS at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 works well. If you're against using Google's DNS servers don't worry. The Black Helicopters will probably get you before Google does.

"tvtorrents.com" in the past has pointed to the www server. The proper site address is "www.tvtorrents.com". If you're used to accessing the site by dropping "www" then start using it. If you're seeing this then you probably figured it out already.

Ignore the traffic lights for now. Please use an external port checker to test your connectability, such as
http://www.canyouseeme.org
or
http://www.whatsmyip.org/ports

SHOW PAGES are not created until a few episodes of a new show have aired. Please think about this before you declare something missing or have a stroke because you cannot believe your new show "isn't on TVTorrents". Use the TORRENTS search and you can find anything. Show pages are convenient but are not absolutely necessary for the pilot episode of your show to exist.
